About YMTROT
The Youngstown Metro Technical Rescue Operations Team, or YMTROT, was an organization comprised of public safety officials who responded to all types of technical rescue emergencies. The concept was to have a team capable of responding to many types of emergencies involving technical rescue. While the team was in operation, they focused on High / Low Angle Rope rescue , Confined Space rescue , Tower rescue, Ice rescue, Trench rescue, Building Collapse and Swift Water rescue.
The YMTROT team was disbanded in 2007.
